From Application to Offer: What to Expect

Interview Process
Has a role caught your eye? Refresh your CV, take a few minutes to learn about us, and answer the application questions. Not sure what to include in your CV? In most cases, the first stage is a short screening audio call with our Talent Team. We will ask a few introductory questions about your experience and situation, and share more about the role, the process, and life at Fruugo. Bring any questions you have too, especially about our culture.
For tips on what to expect, see our Ace your interview section. Depending on the role, this stage may be combined with an interview with the hiring manager.
The next stage is a video interview with the hiring manager, usually lasting 45 to 60 minutes. Sometimes a second manager will join too, often the role’s second line manager. This conversation goes deeper into your experience and gives you a clearer picture of what a typical day in the role looks like.
To prepare, please revisit the job description, research Fruugo and our values, and come ready with a few examples that show your relevant skills and impact. For some of our more technical roles, we may ask you to complete a technical test. This is usually a take home exercise, and you will be given at least two working days to complete it. In some cases, it may be followed by a short presentation or walkthrough with the hiring managers.
We will never surprise you with this. You will receive all the relevant information, expectations, and support you need in advance.
At the offer stage, any offer we make is subject to two successful references and right to work checks. Once these are complete, we can officially start your paperwork and pre onboarding. We will stay in close contact throughout to make sure your transition into the team is smooth and well supported.
